Our instructors provide individual and group instruction. They encourage every child to have fun, develop life long music and dance skills, and reach there full potential.
Lead Director - Bob Bartko
Bob is an alumnus of the Duquesne Tamburitzans and has been an ethnic musician and dancer since the age of six. He is a past member of Slavjane Folk Ensemble and the Trafford Junior Tamburitzans. He is active with the adult Croatian ensemble Kumovi as well as the Carpatho-Rusyn bands Rus’ki Muzakanti and Zlatna Banja. Bob is in his tenth year of directing the Junior Tamburitzans of South Hills.
Director's Assistant - Alison Nicola
Alison is currently majoring in elementary education at Duquesne University. Alison is an alumus of the Junior Tamburitzans of South Hills.
We are seeking a music instructor and dance instructor for the 2008-2009 performing year. Please email us with your interested. We are also interested in help with guest directors.
